Repentance

Repentance is a profound spiritual process that involves recognizing and turning away from sin while seeking forgiveness and restoration in one’s relationship with God. This practice is rooted in the belief that all humans fall short of divine standards, and it emphasizes the importance of a sincere heart transformation. Repentance is not merely remorse but involves a commitment to change one’s behavior, intentions, and thoughts in alignment with Christian teachings. It often includes prayer, confession, and a desire to live a life that reflects Christ’s values, embodying love, humility, and righteousness. Ultimately, repentance is seen as a pathway to spiritual renewal and closer communion with God.

Faith in God

Having faith in God means placing complete trust and confidence in His character, promises, and plans. It involves believing that God is always present, guiding, and caring for us, even in difficult times. Faith goes beyond mere belief; it is an active commitment to rely on God's wisdom and goodness while following His teachings. This relationship fosters hope, resilience, and peace, allowing believers to navigate life's challenges with assurance, knowing that God has a purpose for their lives. Ultimately, faith encourages a deepening relationship with God, rooted in love and understanding.

Baptism

Repentance is a spiritual process where one recognizes sin, seeks forgiveness, and aims for a transformed relationship with God. It involves true heart change, prayer, and a commitment to Christian values.

In Christianity, we see three main Baptisms; Water, which signifies initiation into faith and the washing away of sins. Fire, which represents purification through trials that strengthen faith. Holy Spirit, which empowers believers with the Holy Spirit and spiritual gifts.

Together, these baptisms illustrate the journey from repentance to a Spirit-filled life that reflects Christ’s love.

Laying on of Hands

The laying on of hands is a profound and sacred practice highlighted in the Bible, symbolizing the transfer of spiritual authority, blessing, and healing. This act signifies community, connection, and the presence of the Holy Spirit. In both the Old and New Testaments, it is used to consecrate leaders, heal the sick, and impart blessings, demonstrating God's active involvement in the lives of His people. By physically connecting with others through this gesture, believers not only express their faith but also reinforce their unity within the body of Christ, reminding us that we are called to support and uplift one another in our spiritual journeys.

Resurrection

The doctrine of Resurrection is a fundamental belief in Christianity that asserts the belief in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the promise of eternal life for all believers. Jesus rose from the dead on the third day after His crucifixion, demonstrating victory over sin and death. This act of resurrection is seen as central to salvation, affirming that through faith in Christ, individuals can receive forgiveness and eternal life. Furthermore, we believe in the future resurrection of the dead, where all people will be resurrected—some to eternal life and others to judgment. This doctrine emphasizes hope, transformation, and the assurance of life beyond the physical realm, encouraging believers to live in accordance with their faith in Christ's power over death.

Eternal Judgment

The final 2 judgments, known as the Bema Seat and the Great White Throne Judgment, are pivotal events described in the Book of Revelation. It takes place at the end of time when all the dead are resurrected and presented before God. During this solemn occasion, individuals are judged based on their deeds, with their names examined against the Book of Life. Those whose names are found in the Book of Life are granted eternal life, while those not listed face eternal separation from God, symbolized by being cast into the lake of fire. This judgment underscores themes of divine justice and accountability, ultimately leading to the creation of a new heaven and a new earth, where God will dwell among humanity.
