Last week, we looked at the first four trumpet judgments. As mentioned before, those judgments are different from the last three (much like how the first four seals/horsemen were different from the last three). The first four judgments were released from The Throne Room in response to the prayers of the saints, while the last three will be coming from the abyss.

This week, we will only have time to discuss the fifth trumpet judgment. This event is described in detail in the first twelve verses of chapter nine. Here, we will learn how God uses all things, even pain and evil, in an attempt to get the attention of unbelievers for the purpose of bringing them to repentance. As hard as that might be for us to comprehend, when examined closely, we see that this extreme act is indeed an act of grace.

If you’re struggling to understand how really intense pain and suffering could be an act of grace, scroll through and see what the Holy Spirit might teach you. I’m praying that you will gain a new understanding of God and His ways.

Blessings, friend … see you next week!
