Last week, we looked at chapter 13 which covers one of the most widely known topics of the Bible among believers and unbelievers alike — the figure known as the AntiChrist. We looked at the two different beasts (kingdoms) that will rise to power during the final 3.5 year period of the Tribulation and how they would pursue believers and eventually kill them for not receiving the mark of the beast.

This week, we are looking at the first half of chapter 14. Here, we will get an overview of what is to come in chapters 15-19. All of chapter 14 is like a preview to a movie, while chapters 15-19 are the actual movie in its fullness.

Although it is true that believers will most likely be martyred during this part of the Great Tribulation, this chapter offers an encouraging perspective on the believers deaths. It even says that they are to be “envied.” How can that be? Well, let’s look together to find out…
